I offer a flat-fee pricing structure for all bookings. I provide mobile makeup services only.

Rates and services

Basic rates (Includes travel within Kilmore, Broadford & Seymour)

  • Bridal, bridal trial, or event makeup (one person): $150
  • Bridal or event makeup (two or more people): $135 per person
  • Bridal or event grooming services: $90 per person
  • If paid parking is required this will be added to your booking fee.

Travel outside Kilmore, Broadford, and Seymour will incur a travel fee on top of the minimum booking fee. A minimum booking fee of $405 plus travel applies, regardless of the number of attendees.


Minimum booking fees

  • Local bookings (Kilmore, Broadford, Seymour): $150 minimum (includes travel)
  • Outside these towns: $405 minimum (plus travel)

Minimum booking fees apply regardless of cancellations, reductions in services, or no-shows.

Final pricing is based on the services booked and rates quoted at the time of booking. Minimum booking fees represent the minimum total charge payable.

For group bookings, if cancellations reduce the number of attendees, pricing will be adjusted according to the applicable minimum booking fee.


Payments

Full payment is required at the time of the appointment or prior to the appointment.

  • Cash is accepted on the day and is preferred.
  • Bank transfer prior to the appointment is accepted, provided funds have cleared before the appointment time.
  • Bank transfer on the day and credit card payments are not accepted.

Failure to provide payment as required may result in the appointment not proceeding and the full fee being invoiced.

For group bookings, the client is responsible for ensuring full payment is collected prior to the appointment.


Cancellations and no-shows

  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice: full fee will be invoiced.
  • Cancellation with more than 24 hours’ notice: no fee charged.
  • No-shows: full fee will be invoiced.

Cancellations and no-shows must be made in writing. Proof of notice may be requested.

Requests to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice are treated as cancellations and will be invoiced accordingly.

For group bookings, the client is responsible for ensuring minimum booking requirements are met. Reductions in numbers due to cancellations or no-shows do not reduce the minimum fee payable.


Lateness

Please notify the makeup artist as soon as possible if running late.

  • Appointments cannot be extended due to client lateness.
  • If client lateness prevents completion of services, the full fee still applies.
  • It is unlikely the makeup artist will be able to stay beyond the allocated time.
  • If the makeup artist is able to stay beyond the allocated appointment time, additional fees of $50 per half hour on top of the minimum booking fee may apply.

Behaviour

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if they feel unsafe or if a client or attendee behaves inappropriately. Full fees remain payable in such cases.


Bridal previews

A bridal preview is an opportunity to see if the artist is a suitable fit for your wedding.

  • Previews do not guarantee your wedding date.
  • The artist may decline a wedding booking based on behaviour or if unable to meet requirements. Alternative artists may be suggested.
  • Previews may involve multiple makeup looks and are not recommended immediately before events or photoshoots.

Satisfaction

The artist will consult with clients during the appointment to achieve a satisfactory look.

Reference photos are welcome, but exact replication cannot be guaranteed due to differences in skin, facial features, and products.

Services are provided in the style of the artist’s portfolio. Requests outside this style must be discussed in advance.

Clients are encouraged to request adjustments during the appointment.


Illness and contraindications

Services may be refused if clients have:

  • Bacterial, fungal, parasitic, or viral infections (e.g., cold sores, conjunctivitis)
  • Recent cosmetic treatments (injectables, IPL, laser, surgery)
  • Known medical conditions or allergies affecting treatment

Clients must disclose relevant conditions prior to the appointment. If illness or contraindications prevent the service, the full fee remains payable.


Commercial bookings

Commercial bookings constitute a verbal or written agreement once confirmed.

Invoices must be paid within 14 days.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full fee.


Makeup artist cancellations

If the artist cannot attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, clients will be notified as soon as possible. Payments made will be refunded. Alternative artists may be suggested, but availability is not guaranteed.


Liability

All products, brushes, and tools are sanitised and used in accordance with infection control and manufacturer guidelines.

Clients must inform the artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions. Allergic reactions can occur even without previous reactions. Patch testing may be requested. Clients release the artist from liability for allergic reactions and agree to seek medical advice if required.


Privacy policy

Personal information collected through www.saarikko.com.au is handled according to Australian privacy laws.

  • Information is collected only when knowingly provided and used solely for the purpose submitted or related purposes.
  • Information is not sold or traded, except to provide services or where legally required.
  • Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed secure.
  • Clients may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time.
